Improvisation for Design of Engineering Alternatives (IDEA) is a group of Georgia Tech researchers who apply the techniques of improvisational humor to catalyze technical innovation. While this approach has been used in non-technical innovation for years, we apply it to generating unique technical solutions to engineering design problems. Contact us about a workshop for your organization or checkout our schedule for various public workshops at technical meetings around the U.S.

A special IDEA innovation workshop will be held for all Georgia Tech Students interested in participating in the Inventure Prize Competition at Georgia Tech. Join us for free pizza, and a fun and interesting exercise to help you improve your innovation process for this competition on Thursday, October 21st 6-7:30pm in room L1255 of the Ford ES&T building at Georgia Tech. No need to RSVP for this event just show up and learn how improvisation can help you explore technical idea space. If you have questions email us at pete.ludovice@chbe.gatech.edu
